A complete stranger asked to be able to hold our granddaughter Ella during a wrestling tournament for our grandson. This gentleman totally enjoyed holding a little baby. I could have moved around a bit to get more of Ella's face, but this is the best shot...

Cattle are a curious creature. After traveling out of State, it is a welcome sight to see cattle along the road side. Their big boney head makes them look so ugly they are almost cute.

Sunrises can be very different. This luminescent sunrise is just as the light is defining the horizon. If you look close you can see stars in the dark sky.

The late summer woods have a thick canopy of leaf cover on the trees. Occasionally the sun finds a hole to shine through onto a low hanging branch of maple leaves. This photo is looking up at the underside of leaves at the brilliant green coloring before autumn starts changing to yellows and reds.

A road trip to Iowa found beautiful roadside flowers. The clicking of the shutter found butterflies. Always be open for adventure in the simplest places.
